Serene Scene in Salem, Massachusetts

This one photo was taken at Pickering Wharf in Salem, Massachusetts in October 2006.

I found this one almost surreal like watching a scene in a movie- where everything is perfect and balanced in a timed and choregraphed manner. The replica ship named “Friendship” is at the center of it all. The couple sitting on the foreground, the father and son on the right just standing still at the side, some bystanders where the tent is, even the birds seemed to have been placed there in time for the film to reel… What a scene!
