Stunning Polihale Sunset

This one photo was taken in Kauai, Hawaii in October of 2008.

I chose this one photo because this is one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in my entire life
and it can be found in the off and beaten path of Kaumuali’i Highway,
Route 50- the Polihale State Park Beach in Kauai, Hawaii.

The photo is untouched. The sky just burst into fiery colors of orange and yellows.
Even the pacific waters reflected its beautiful colors. Breathtaking.

Part of the “barking sands” – a beach stretch in Kauai, the location of Pacific Missile Range Facility,
a rocket launch site for the United States Navy, and is also used for testing missile defense systems.
